TRACK 7 – HIGH AVAILABILITY AND VIRTUALIZATION WITH OPEN SOURCE SOLUTIONS

General objective

Provide participants with an overview of the main lines of work in the areas of high availability and virtualization technologies as a basis for efficient management of server infrastructures, with an emphasis on the use of low cost solutions.

Addressed to:

ICT infrastructure managers and people interested in the subject, who wish to familiarize themselves with high availability concepts and virtualization technologies for efficient server management.

Pre requirements

Knowledge in the TCP / IP family of protocols. Managing Linux-based network services.

Methodology

Theoretical sessions on basic concepts supported by practical workshops and technical discussions for each of the topics proposed in the program. The practical sessions and technical discussions will focus on getting the participants to build a use case, where they apply the concepts acquired during the workshop.
